A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and a former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the controversial statement made by Bishop Matthew Kukah on the alleged lopsided appointments made by President Mohammadu Buhari
Bishop Kukah has said that there would have been a coup if the non-northerner and non-muslim president should try what President Buhari is doing by running a government of northern hegemony.
The Federal Government through the Minister for Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed replied the cleric, saying that some clerics are systematically calling for the ouster of President Buhari.
In his response, Fani-Kayode lauded the cleric, saying that anyone who opposes what he said should go and jump into the lagging
Speaking via his Tweeter handle, Fani-Kayode Kayode said: “Bishop Kukah has courageously spoken the bitter truth & called a spade a spade.
“Those that are not comfortable with his words and are not ready to accept that truth should go & jump in the lagoon or hug a transformer. Kukah has said what I have been saying for the last 5 years!
