President Mohammadu Buhari-led National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday expelled a former National Vice Chairman, South-south, Ntufam Hilliard Eta.
He was booted out of the ruling party over alleged anti-party activities
Politico.ng had earlier reported that the party’s NEC during a meeting today approved the elongation of tenure of Mai Buni for additional six months and also dissolved states, zonal, and national party structures.
Shedding light on the sudden expulsion of Eta, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, told newsmen at the State House that the party decided to take the drastic step for his failure to withdraw the court case filer against the caretaker committee.
The meeting where those key issues were taken was presided by President Muhammadu Buhari.
