The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus, has descended on President Muhammadu Buhari for having the effontery of snubbing the National Assembly
By the single act of Buhari, Secondus said that it vividly shows that nobody is in charge of the Government.
Buhari had pledged to honour the summon until he suddenly made a volte-face by turning down the invitation
The President was hinging on the statement credited to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister for Justice who said that the house lacks the power to compel the President to appear before it.
Voicing out his opinion on the development, Secondus during a chat with reporters Reossaid:
“President Muhammadu Buhari who was scheduled to address the nation’s parliament today (Thursday) backed out after confirming to them he was coming.
“This back and front from the President on vital issue of security that is overwhelming our nation underscores our position as an opposition party that nobody is in-charge and that this is a broken government
