Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has disclosed that he had the intention of changing Nigeria society through education.
Acccording to the Ijaw-born politician, it was against this background that his government intervened in the almajirai case with massive funds.
He made this known at the presentation of a book written in his honour by former managing editor of Daily Times Bonaventure Melah. The book is titled “Dear President Goodluck Jonathan”.
Jonathan said; “My interest was to change society through education. No matter what we do to elevate Nigeria, without education, society would find it difficult to change. That was my personal view.
