Kalu receives thousands of PDP members into APC, says ruling party growing stronger

Former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu has boasted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is growing stronger all the time.

The foremost South East politician added that the impact of the party would be  felt nationwide in 2023.

He made this assertion at his home town in Igbere while welcoming thousands of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faithful into the APC.

The Senate Chief Whip received them on behalf of the State Chairman, Donatus Nwankpa, and the National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Governor Mai Buni.

Kalu enjoined the new party members to give their best for the  party’s victory in the next general elections.

“We are a party that encourages people to pay workers’ salaries, pensions, build roads and take care of society. Our business is to think and work toward the welfare of Abia, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra people and Nigerians”, NAN quoted him as saying.

“Today is a remarkable day. I welcome you to this great party, which is for all Nigerians. We believe that this party will make all of us proud. The party believes in the rule of law; it believes things should be done well and believes in Nigerians
