The main opposition, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the assault of a Nigerian diplomat in Indonesia.
National Chairman, Uche Secondus said Nigerians are being ridiculed abroad under President Muhammadu Buhari’s Government
The frontline politician urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government to sanction Indonesia over the treatment of the officer.
He charged Nigeria to apply no constraints in responding to the situation.
Secondus said that no citizen deserved such treatment, noting that a foreign official represents the home country.
“These needless insults on Nigerians must stop. APC misrule has helped to aggravate this unfortunate development, we must protect our humanity in the comity of nations.”
He called for the expulsion of the Indonesian ambassador in Nigeria to serve as a commensurate action.
