The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP in Abia State has asked the All Progressive Congress (APC) to hide its face in shame for causing agony to Nigerians.
Acccording to PDP, the national ruling partylacked moral justification to query Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for non-composition of the full State Executive Council.
It warned the national ruling party to stop attacking PDP, but apologize to Nigerians inflicting then with evil polices that have caused terrorism, banditry, killer herdsmen menace and kidnapping.
The PDP said this on Monday by its State Secretary, Barrister David Iro, in reaction to the recent vituperation against Governor Ikpeazu, querying the delay by the latter to constitute cabinets
The APC, in a statement Umuahia, the state capital, berated Ikpeazu and accused him of ruling the State as a hamlet.
PDP said “The evidence of good governance and inclusiveness, speak volume in his administration.
“APC should be courageous enough to condemn the spate of killings and insecurity in the nation.
“They should urge the federal government and its agencies to enforce the ban on open grazing instead of being indifferent on issues of public importance, ” PDP added.
“Therefore, it is ridiculous for the spokesperson of the APC in Abia State to say that the governor is governing the state like a personal estate.
“APC governors are fighting with Labour Unions in their respective states over retrenchment policy and the other, where the masses are accusing the Governor of killing his own kinsmen, “it concluded
