Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi has released latest development on his 2023 presidential ambition.
The frontline politician said he’s yet to declare because consultations are still on.
He made this remark after a visit to Ondo State on Thursday.
He consulted Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, the South-West Governors Forum Chairman.
The scholar turned politician also met the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye III; the Deji Of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Ademefun Kiladejo, and Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
He noted that leadership is service, sacrifice and duty, “not an ambition”.
“I am not yet an aspirant. My next political move will be based on the outcome of the consultations that I am currently conducting with stakeholders across the country.
“May the Lord continue to be my guiding light”, the Ekiti helmsman added.
