A notable stalwart of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Abia State, Chief Chris Nkwota has resigned from the party.
It should be noted that Nkwota, two occasions was the Abia South Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, in Abia State.
He made the intimation of his resignationin a letter dated 28th December 2020 and addressed to Akwete Ohandu Ward PDP executive.
A copy of the letter was made available journalists in on Wednesday in Abia State.
Nworta, while explaining what informed his decision of quiting APGA, he complained about irregularities and other unsavoury events that allegedly took marred all activities of the party before and after 2019 general elections.
He said that he would continue to search for a better platform to fulfil his electoral ambition.
In a related Dldevelopment, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has insisted that more PDP Governors would soon embraced the ruling APC like David Umahi of Ebonyi.
He made this remark after a closed-door political meeting on Wednesday,
