‘Private Visit’ to UK: Presidency declines comment on rumour on Buhari’s date of return

President Muhammadu Buhari may not return to Nigeria on Sunday, May 5 as expected.

This is reportedly due to health complications.

It was gathered that the President is extending his stay on doctors’ advice.

Buhari had travelled to the United Kingdom on April 25.

Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, was contacted for his reaction Friday afternoon.

According to DailyPpost, the presidential aide, however, dropped the phone after a correspondent asked him for reaction on the development.

Neither did he pick subsequent calls nor reply text message as at press time.
