Supplementary Poll: Voting exercise goes on smoothly at Ihiala, Anambra State

Voting exercise has begun in Ihiala Local Government Area, where the supplementary Anambra Governorship election is taking place.

In Wward 20, it was learnt that voters have already started casting their votes.

A technical officer with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, who spoke newsmen said the voting is going on well.

“We started voting at about 12 pm, and there is a satisfactory level of turnout.

“The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine is working perfectly today. We updated our software and today, it is not taking up to one minute to accredit one voter,” she said.
