Murray-Bruce queries declaration of Babangida’s Spokesman wanted by Police

Ben Murray-Bruce, a lawmaker representing Bayelsa East Senatorial district, has bashed the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris for declaring Kassim Afegbua, Media Aide of former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida wanted over a statement released on behalf of his principal,.

Babangida himself, had already admitted issuing both statements.

Murray-Bruce, who took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday said: “Since President Babangida has said that he issued the statement, then what grounds does the IGP of Police have to declare his Spokesman, Kassim Afegbua, wanted?

“This defies logic. If the statement ‘defames’ President Buhari, then charge the horse if you dare, not its mouth!”
