Former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has reacted to the report of Governor Nyesom Wike of endorsing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
According to him, endorsement of candidates from other political parties is part of the style of the Rivers State Governor.
It will be recalled that Wike made the endorsement during a conference of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State officials in Lagos on Monday.
However, speaking to newsmen on Channels TV Politics Today on Tuesday, Chidoka, , said Wike did the same thing during the Anambra State governorship election.
According to Chidoka “This is not the first time he’s doing it. In Anambra, during the Anambra governorship election, he did not support the PDP candidate. He said it’s against his conscience to fight against his friend who was running for governor.
“I believe that this is consistent with his style and he’s at liberty to choose who he wants to endorse.”
Chidoka further noted that it “is not morally right to be wearing the flag of the party. You served that government as a minister, you became governor under the same PDP and now you’re endorsing candidates outside of the PDP.
