PDP lifts suspension it placed on seven federal lawmakers

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lifted the suspension it placed on seven House of Representatives members

Speaking on why the opposition party lifted the ban, Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary in a statement  said that the suspension was lifted on Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Hon. Wole Oke, Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu, Hon. Anayo Edwin, Hon. Gideon Gwani, Hon. Toby Okechukwu and Hon. Adekoya Abdul-majid

Acccording to him, the National Working Committee (NWC) did this on the recommendations of the various committees set on issues relating to the suspension.

The party also urged the lawmakers not to do anything contrary to the rules and regulations of the party so as not to destroy vision of its founding fathers.

PDP also promised to continue give respect the PDP Caucus of the House of Representatives as led by Hon. Kingsley Chinda.

The party also gave order to the Harmonization Committee led by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to parley with the party members in the House of Representatives
